How would you respond to this statement:
When addressing the issue of what coats would be more effective in an environment. I would have to say that the best coat for a cold winter environment would be the white coat. This coat allows the bunnies to blend into the natural environment in the arctic.
For the more temperate climate the brown coat rabbit will be able to blend into the environment much more effectively. A white coat in this environment will only allow predators to seek and kill the white coat bunnies.
Natural selection suggests that the strongest and the most biologically fit to tackle the challenges of an environment will survive. This can be seen when all the white bunnies are killed by wolves because they are more easily spotted by wolves. Because of this we tend to see white rabbits in climates that snow heavily and darker coats in more temperate.
