Siege of Mesada
You should consider the influence geography had on the group(s) living there. Were there natural barriers? Means of transportation? Fertile lands? Natural resources? A mild climate? What impact do those characteristics have on the people? Was there an already established society? How do these ideas then relate to the the larger themes of the course: trade, expansion, economy, government, religion, culture, and society?
Be sure to include the time period you were investigating and some of the groups that inhabited the area. What is your overall impression of the impact geography had at the time? Was it an advantage to the societies or a detriment?
