Paper instructions:
After completing the readings for this assignment, you are invited
to start a self-reflection pertaining to the acquisition of cultural
competencies considering the diverse populations and their unique
needs while providing Couple and Sex Therapy. Start with a white sheet
of paper. On the top of the list write ?at the beginning?; in the
middle, write ?now? and towards the bottom of your list write ?in the
future.? Then, write a paragraph or two for each section to assess
your cultural competencies for diverse populations that you might
encounter in your work with couples. Remember to comment on different
aspects of diversity, including but not limited to ethnicity, race,
disability, sexual and gender orientation etc. Be sure to support your
reflections with specific references to the assigned readings.
