Write a report on how you would improve the system operation for a specific company that you are familiar with. It should begin with an executive summary no longer than 250 words. All details are to be put in an appendix in the form of exhibits, tables etc. The general guidelines for the project are as follows:
1) Executive summary
2) Introduction and Company Background
3) Define the system operation and the context (business unit) in which it operates.
4) Discuss the company in detail:
– Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability Measures
– The Measures of Logistics and System Support
– The System Engineering Process
– Logistics and Supportability Analysis
– System Optimization
5) Analyze the operations using life-cycle analysis, maintenance task analysis and other analytical tools.
6) Discuss the operation capabilities, given the current structure, in terms of the specific dimensions identified by you.
7) Discuss existing problems and weaknesses in the current logistic operation.
8) Propose how should the logistic operation be redesigned to be able to do particularly well in terms of cost, time, quality, and flexibility?
9) Conclusion
