Pop-Up Restaurant – Foundations in Creativity

Pop-Up Restaurant – Foundations in Creativity

The final project is a product that may be a multimedia presentation or an original creation

that demonstrates the content and creativity theories covered in the course. Using your creativity, you will demonstrate what you have learned in this course as you apply the various creativity theories to your work, your life, and other contexts. A written paper (15 pages minimum excluding any references, 12 font, 1 ½ spacing, and electronic submission) will accompany your final project to explicate your application of the course content to your final project. Be specific in discussing your application of the various theories and theorists studied in this course to your final project. Elaborate on how you have connected the course content to your final project.

My multimedia project is a video of myself putting together a “pop up steakhouse restaurant” at the university I work for as a catering manager.

What I would like you to do is write the written paper that includes theories from the class. I will attach a outline of the theories needed for this paper plus some reference material. Including my resume so that my work history can fit there somewhere. Some of the information will need to be more personal in nature. ie… what motivated me, inspiration, educational background…etc. Please send a message for any information needed.

Format of the paper should be as follows

Abstract – Really strong statement about the philosophy of creativity and how creating this pop-up dinner restaurant which is outside of what the students at the university normally get in the “boring” and sometime repetitious student dining facility effects the dining experience.

Introduction – should include information about me, my creativity assessment(will be attached) and information about what a pop-dinner is and why its creative.

Method – combination of physical work and the theories that relate

Discussion – The overall experience and relevant theories

Results – There is some reactions on the video from different attendees of the dinner
