(I thought that I’d let you know that in 2011, I lost my grandmother and ten year old sister within a month’s time apart. That summer, my family and I spent most of our time going back and forth between both hospitals. Also, in 2012, my father was incarcerated. He was looking at life in prison. Each of these events have affected my previous poor academic performance.)
