These readings will prepare you to speak with parents, children, and adolescence about providing and consuming proper nutrition with certain conditions.

Over the summer Tommy went through a growth spurt and is now 6’3 tall and weighs 175 pounds. His coach wants him to gain more muscle mass as his times have become a little bit slower. His coach suggested he drink protein supplements at least two times per day and take Mega-vitamins for men. Tommy normally eats six meals per day, which consists of starches and meats and is limited in fruits, vegetables, and milk (aside from cheese). After calculating his diet intake you determine he is consuming 3500 calories, 30% from protein, 30% from fat, and 40% from carbohydrates.
