1) mention the author and title of the article at the beginning of the eassay. put the title of the article in quotes. state where the article was published. italicize the name of a newspaper. give the author’s credentials.

2) Give a brief summary of what the article is about.
3) Make clear at the beginning of the second paragraph your stand with regard to the article: Agree, Disagree. Or, agree with a difference.
4) Tie your essay to the article by using 4-5 quotations from the article, approximately one per paragraph.
5) The response should be around 2 pages long.
6) use 12 point type.
