Male victims of sexual assault in prisons

Sexual assault has been a common phenomenon especially in the developed or the

developing countries. Although this is a crime in all the countries worldwide, it is still a

challenge to the governments to be able to effectively assure human and civil rights to their

citizens despite the way they are fundamental (Congress, 2010). This has been a global problem

with countless reported cases of rape and defilement of young children by older people. This has

been frightening given the statistics that have been released worldwide by various organizations.
