Making Connections With Art

Read week1.1(seems long but contain lots of pictures) and week1.2 and rest of the article and answer the following question below

In “Making Connections With Art” , Horowitz and Dutton give us ways to think about the arts and their relationships to people and culture. Perry and Leppert, in the separate text introductions draw connections between art and gender.

In this discussion assignment, you are asked to develop your own definitions and connections after grounding yourself within these initial readings. Then, further your understanding of issues of art and gender by responding to posts by colleagues within the course.
Questions to consider and respond to are outlined here. I particularly ask you to pay close attention to Question C and your thinking here as you begin to make connections between gender and art. What course readings assist in bridging these concepts and how?
