1b)    Our ISP is Time Warner Cable. It can be first identified in hop 3 as texas.rr.com. The rr is for Road Runner which was a brand name for high speed broadband internet access from Time Warner Cable (Dampier, 2012). The packet is passed through various Time Warner routers until hop 8 after which it is passed into the Internet backbone.

1c)     The host server IP is 212.58.244.70.

1d)    In steps 3-5, the packet is in Austin, TX indicated by ausutx. Then, it is in Dallas, TX for steps 6-9 indicated by dllatx, dfw, and dls. After that, it goes to Ashburn, VA in step 10 indicated by ash to get London, UK indicated by ldn in steps 12 and 13.

1e)    The Tier 1 Internet backbone provider was TeliaSonera International Carrier indicated by the telia.net in hops 9-12.
