Project description
I. When you read the assigned readings, try to ask the following questions to yourself:
1.What questions does the author pose?
2.What is the author’s central argument and how well is it stated?
3.What types of evidence does the author use to support his/her argument?
4.What are the strengths and weaknesses of the author’s argument?
5.Are you persuaded – do you agree with the author’s argument? Why, or why not?
II. Your responses should include the following components:
•Do NOT simply summarize the reading, but demonstrate that you finish the reading by engaging with some of the main themes and issues that you found interesting and/or problematic. Provide your comments, critiques and reactions
•Posit one or two questions or issues you would like to raise for discussion.
