What is technology transfer?
This is an opportunity to explore how such ‘external’ influences, as gained through technology transfer, can have a positive effect on project development and outcomes. There are many examples to explore and analyse.
Are the benefits simply as a result of the practical implications of the specific technology, or might they be as a result of co-operation with experts from diverse disciplines? What are the practical benefits (manufacture, assembly, operation and use), management benefits (design, procurement, etc), and cost benefits?
