International Justice Movement

The aim of the essay is to demonstrate your knowledge of the relevant films and texts and your ability to interpret these texts (as well as relevant examples from them) to develop your own answer to the question. The essay should be driven by a clear argument, perspective, or point of view. Please use the reference format of your preference (footnotes, endnotes, or in-paragraph citation format) as well as a bibliography.
To what extent has the international justice movement, since 1945 and especially since the end of the Cold War, delivered criminal accountability, regulated warfare, and enforced the laws of war? In answering this question, focus exclusively on films and readings from Meeting 6 onwards, though you can briefly engage the Kaldor reading. Please include references from the book New and Old Wars Chapter 6 and 7, the book Global Justice Chapter 2, 4, 6 and 8, and the Witnesses Chapters 1-5. Also, include references on the films Judgement at Nuremberg, I Came to Testify, Calling the Ghosts, The Judge and the General, Breaker Morant, Taxi to the Dark Side, The Reckoning: The Battle for The International Criminal Court, and Prosecutor.
