Travelling is a desire every person yearns for in their lives. Most individuals have travelled picnics all season round the year, but there comes a single experience that changes ones’whole perspective of life. Other peoples’ way of life changes completely taking a different dimension. For this reason, this essay intends to discuss how my travel experiences have affected my life.

Travelling being a unique feeling, imposed in our hearts and mind, Community service exposure is the most intriguing. My travel to Kenya, Kibera region almost leaves a tear in my eyes whenever I try recalling the whole experience. People in this slum, rarely have a two meal a day, however hard they worked for a well earning day. Besides this, the environment itself scares house flies away at a range. My early day visit was all a miserable. One day as I keenly observed their daily activities, it struck me they were human as I, only that they were less fortunate. I became grieved to the extent of sharing my meals withsome orphans I had identified.Eventually, this was my recruitment for community service in my life, having no prior knowledge of community development.Community service has formed the basis of my daily spending. When making my monthly budget, I always allocate resources for these needy children and orphans. I also keep a saving for them in my bank account. With these influences, I will soon establish an orphan funding organisation for the needy, soliciting funds from corporate bodies willing to support the body.

Adventure to new and unique places has significantly changed my eating habits. My visit to a vegan family in Ontario made me accept and spearhead the health reform message to all people. Meat eating faded from my table, paving way for a vegetarian diet and lifestyle. I came to understand that animals too have feelings like human beings, and they need life-saving measures too.
