Information technology influences the decision making of individuals or organizations in the business world. An example of the recent technology is the Social Media and Web 2.0 technologies, wSocial media and internet have many impacts on different aspects of life.

Communication overload can result especially in centralised decision-makers, phenomena called saturation. Saturation may lead to both positive and negative effect depending on the views raised by the social media users (255).
