Identify creditable research sources for your topic.

Team research project:
All students will participate in a research project and electronic presentation of a topic related to the course. There are three main purposes of the student research project:
To have each student investigate in some depth an area of the telecommunications field that is not covered or is only lightly in the course.
To develop communication, collaboration and presentation skills in an electronic setting.
Follow the steps given below:Each student will select a different topic to investigate which deals with some aspect of telecommunications. Avoid selecting a topic that is too broad in scope.Identify creditable research sources for your topic. These may include trade journals, professional journals, textbooks other than the course text, trade shows, Web sites, interviews (by phone or in person) with experts, and field trips. Remember, Wikipedia or similar sources should not be used in a research project.Do your research and organize your findings to focus on the main points and trends concerning your research area. Create an outline of the key areas that will be included in the presentation.Create a PowerPoint presentation of between 15-25 slides using APA style formatting.
TASK 1:
Select a topic to investigate which deals with some aspect of telecommunications. Avoid selecting a topic that is too broad in scope. Submit a one page description of the chosen topic, the focus of the topic and the reason why this particular telecommunications topic was chosen.
Your submission should be a Word document, double spaced, and in 12-point Times New Roman font.
Task 2:
Identify creditable research sources for your topic. These may include trade journals, professional journals, textbooks other than the course text, trade shows, Web sites, interviews (by phone or in person) with experts, and field trips. Remember, Wikipedia or similar sources should not be used in a research project.
Do your research and organize your findings to focus on the main points and trends concerning your research area. Create a two page outline of the key areas that will be included in the presentation. The outline should also include a list of preliminary references, APA formatted, which will be used in researching the topic. Submit the project outline.
Your submission should be in a Word document, double spaced, and in 12-point Times New Roman font.Task 3:
Create a PowerPoint presentation with a minimum of 15 slides using APA style formatting and submit the final product.
