The most effective way to combat prejudice is to raise awareness through education and action. One of the most effective things you can do is to get involved and stay informed (Koppelman, 2014).

Consider how prejudice against people who are considered different is perpetuated from generation to generation, and examine the consequences of persistent prejudice in society. You will identify examples of prejudice, stereotyping, bigotry, and discrimination and explain the underlying causes of these societal woes. Finally, you will reflect upon and describe the rewards of a society without prejudice.
