Human beings are always trying to define their origin and also the origin of the universe using various theories called myths. Myths are creation stories believed to be true by some people although some people dispute themand provide no evidence to the explanation and therefore people just believe them religiously (Fiero 1995). Examples of myths are the hymn of Rig-veda from India that argues that life originated from the watery darkness. Characteristics of Palaeolithic and Neolithic cultures
The Paleolithic is the period when people lived a nomadic life hunting and gathering fruitsis when people organized themselves in small communities and became more creative.
Hominids are the species that preceded the H (Fiero 2002). Homo habilis refers to the first species of the Homo genus family with features similar to the modern man. , a protruding face, and never used sophisticated tools (Fiero 2002). Homo sapiens or the modern men are humans who possess the mental capability, can talk, express emotions, and are upright in stature.
Neolithic age is a revolutionary age because people settled down to do farming, invented new methods of tools such as pots and metallic equipment, and were very creative (Fiero 2002). The common thin about myths gives an account of how the universe came into being, including man. All myths do not have tangible evidence and rely on beliefs of different communities.
Conclusion
There are many creation theories, which explain the origin of hum kid and the universe. Paleolithic era is when people engaged in gathering while the Neolithic era is when people settled and practiced agriculture.
