Develop an analysis of select popular media of your choice. Your focus should be on the ways the medium reinforces or resists social norms and stereotypes surrounding childbirth, pregnancy, motherhood. Draw from at least three different forms in your analysis (i.e., TV sitcoms, internet, and magazines). In a short presentation describe your findings, supporting your arguments by referencing “Childbirth Across Cultures”, outside research, and personal experience where relevant and appropriate. You may include links to visual or auditory examples such as a music video, movie or film clip, or magazine articles.
