Essentially, the group assignment required us to read and discuss an assigned article within our groups. Additionally, the group assignment required us to not only read and discuss the article but also to come up with a five-page summary of the article. While an individual would easily do an essay of that length, it is a lot easier when done with a team of people. Largely doing the assignment as a group allows each team member to

seamlessly in real time. responsibilities evenly among the group members. Fundamentally, what this does is that it develops proper group dynamics and focus on the group. Without proper direction and focus, the whole group may eventually lose focus and struggle to complete the task assigned (Terry). In order to achieve our objective, we came up with a deadline when all group members should have read and summarized the article. Additionally, we also agreed to write at least a page each on the assigned article after reading it leaving us with a summary of approximately five pages in length. We were able to achieve this because of our group organization. At the end of it all, we were able to complete our paper a week before the due date. Evidently, our group was able to finish the assignment in a short time because of our dynamic responsibilities, which increased performance.

In conclusion, our group did not encounter difficulties in tackling the assignment because of the group dynamics we employed within the group. Effective group communication results in a successful project execution within a group (Everett-Haynes and Baughman). Communication helps in reaching out to other group members and in resolving any difficulties found within the group (Terry). Next, use of technology helped us a great deal in our communication and sharing of resources within the group.
