Friendly letter

Your friend has moved to another country for permanent residence six months ago (for example, to Norway). You have not seen each other after that. Your purpose is to write a letter to your friend. Ask about living in a foreign country. Since this type of writing is informal, you can use spoken language.
To write a friendly letter, you should:
1. Write a salutation. Think about the nature of your relationship with the letter recipient, as well as your own preferences and style, and choose your greeting accordingly.
2. Use the first few lines to say an extended hello, tell a joke, or reference the season.
3. Share news and your personal details.
4. Ask your friend some questions.
5. Write a postscript and date the letter.
