Factors influencing consumers buying behaviour of Thai people in choosing luxury brands (as can be seen from the proposal as the attached file below) I want you to do
Literature review part for me (like the example of dissertation but please adapt it which relate to my topic). (3,250 words)
This is what my supervisor guide me Literature Reviews are generally well handled by
Masters students, I am however, always amazed at the number of errors with
referencing that still occur at this stage. These types of mistake are inexcusable
at this stage of your academic studies, and often irritate markers. Remember,
direct quotes need a page reference. Charts and tables used need to be
numbered, given a title and have the full reference. On the issue of references,
about 1 in 3 submissions had an incomplete bibliography.
Some of the Literature Reviews did lack a critical analysis of contrasting
different perspectives of the theory BUT also ensuring links (using examples)
from your research context. At a Master’s level, you are required to write
critically. This means that you need to present the various positions that
researchers (in their published articles) have given. Show both sides of
arguments and then develop your position from the areas that have been written
on. A number of literature reviews, were so generic that they could have been
inserted into any management text book use examples from your context to
illustrate the theory. Make sure that your literature is relevant to your research.
Show how the theory is linked to your research problem. Some students are still
not reading widely enough OR worse, not including key literature in the field.
There will usually be some classic or seminal research papers that need inclusion
in your literature review, but you are expected to also include the most current
published research. Depending on the field, I would expect about 75% of the
references to have been published within the last 190 years.
