Environmental and Consumer Influences Analysis
Select a product or service with which you are familiar. Find 2 different websites that sell the same product or provide the same service. Please provide links to each website. Provide a screen shot of the website (optional).
Identify the psychological and social factors, such as motives, perception, attitudes, personality, family, social class, and reference groups, that influence consumer behavior toward your product or service. Write an introductory paragraph describing your above findings.
Prepare A side by side comparison of your websites. Present how each website addresses the following in a bullet point format
•Describe the Audience each website would more than likely target. Are the audiences the same or different? If they are different, describe how?
•Technological (ex: can the consumer order online, Does the company provide instant chat services)
•Social (ex: Does the website provide links to social media? Is the company involved with any community or charity type efforts)
•Cultural (ex: discuss differences in cultural aspects apparent from the overall message the website is sending or the impression you get from what is presented in terms of company culture)
