In preparation for the history interview report students will be required to meet the following benchmarks:
1. TOPIC
You are required to inform the instructor in writing the name of the historical character of interest. For ideas, see the section of the guide titled Suggested Historical Figures.
2. BIBLIOGRAPHY
You are required to submit a bibliography that includes a minimum of (5) five sources related to the selected historical character
Format of the Bibliography: All students are required to use the American Psychological Association [APA] citation style. For more information on APA citation style see http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/05/.

3. ROUGH DRAFT
You are required to submit answers to questions 1-20 of the Interview Question Guide.
4. FINAL REPORT
Format of the final report: The report must be: typed, double-spaced, 12 size font, font style Times New Roman or Arial, have 1 inch margins, and must be 4-6 pages in length.
Title & cover page: The report must include a title and cover page that contains (1) a picture of the historical character selected, your name, course title, assignment title, name of professor and date of submission.
Questions: The report must include answers to all questions provided in Interview Question Guide.
Sources: You must consult a minimum of (5) five sources in answering all questions provided in Interview Question Guide. All supporting evidence included in the historical interview project must be from academic sources.
Reference page: List the sources you used at the end of the project in a reference page [APA style]. For more information on the reference page see http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/05/.
Submission: You must submit a hard copy and electronic copy of your history interview report:
o You must submit a hard copy of your report to the instructor by the beginning of class the day of the deadline in order to be considered on time.
