Educational/Know how to create a lesson plan

Read Rite of Passage by Richard Wright, The Tent by Gary Paulsen, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and Bless Me Ultima by Anaya. Pick two of the texts in this module and write 1 lesson plan for each of your two chosen books with a 2- 3 page reflection paper about ways that your students might connect to these texts through the characters,setting or other literary device. In other words, justify your choice of learning activities for your lesson plans. Learning activities can include a student writing assignments, oral presentations or other activities. Include ways that you will assess student work and understanding as encouraged by your learning activities.
