You have been hired by the XYZ local school district as lead teacher and curriculum and instruction specialist or Brown-Simpson Elementary School. Your school district superintendent and principal has delegated the responsibility to you to meet with your faculty at Brown-Simpson, a low-performing school, to increase test scores in reading and/or mathematics for grades three and six. With your curriculum and instruction studies in instructional design and assessment, you have been given the responsibility to create only one effective program to increase test scores in either grade three or six. Your task: Create an instructional design and assessment mini-proposal that would outline and discuss strategies that you would use to improve test scores in either reading or math for either grade three or six.Your proposal should determine whether or not you will become the permanent “lead teacher” and “curriculum instructional specialist” for designated school. This position provides an annual salary of $75,000.00 per year. In addition, discuss how you would integrate technology in your proposal in order to raise student achievement in either reading or math.
