This week you were to read Chapter 5 of the PE framework on assessment. The chapter describes different types of assessment (entry level, progress monitoring and summative) as well as different assessment tools (structured observations, tests, journals, rubrics, performance tasks, projects etc..) that can be used in P.E. Your task it to go the website P.E. Central at http://www.pecentral.org/assessment/assessment.html and locate an assessment example.  After selecting an assessment example you need to write a response that does the following:  1. Describes the assessment tool or the example of the student assessment  2. Provides a link to the assessment you selected  3. Explains which of the five overarching PE standards the assessment connects with and why  you selected the standard you did (see attached document for a description of the 5 standards)  4. Analyzes what you see as the pros and cons to the assessment you selected  5. Describes any insights you gained about assessment from exploring the website
