Determination is a vital part of my character that assists me in reaching my objectives, and each and every time I take up a new thing, and I am determined to achieve success. TO accomplish anything big or small in life, there is a need for one to plan and design a career path. This applies specifically to my career path. I know I must have a premeditated way to attain my career goals. My major goal is acquiring a career in the field of mental health either as a special education teacher or a psychiatric aide.. My career path is subdivided into various sections that entail.

During the first month, I shall take AP psychology in school and also take AP exam so that I might get a good head start. I want to get grades and, as a result, I must work hard and get more sleep. I shall be arriving at each of my classes fifteen minutes early the whole of this month.

I have many goals for this semester. Firstly, I want to enhance and improve on my study habits. Charting and making my time shall prove to be valuable. Time shall be wasted if I am not organized. Hence, I shall establish good study habits.   Daily class attendance is vital so that I may be able to keep up with the class. Attending class on a daily basis shall provide me with an opportunity of being exposed to the ideas of the other students. I shall make sure that I have the required supplies for the class work. Knowing what is required and needed in the class will make the learning process flow much more smoothly.

During the last year, I struggled to start class in an effective and quick manner. Hence, my class usually failed to complete their agenda on a daily basis, and I had to rush at the end of every unit so as to cover the required materials. During this year, I shall identify about two classroom management strategies so as to improve the start of my classes. This shall provide me with ample time to complete each unit and improves my performance on the End of unit assessment tests. I am planning that by the end of this year I shall have covered various counseling friendly courses such as biology, psychology, and speech communications.

Within the next two years, I am going to have found a part time job in a nursing home. I shall be working with nurses and doctors while also continuing with my education. I am anticipating that within the next three years is shall take another step to achieving my main objective. I anticipate that I shall get accepted to a profound college and graduate so that the employees can be able to view me with more respect. I shall do various college searches and apply early. I hope that by that time I shall have had some firsthand experience when dealing with individuals having mental health issues.

I am anticipating that by the fourth year I will be employed in a profound organization and practicing my career under minimal or no supervision. I shall have acquired knowledge on how to deal with various diseases such as speech impairments, Asperser’s Syndrome, as well as, learning disabilities.

Problem 2.

My accomplishments so far entail Interacting with nurses at the various nursing homes. This has provided me with the first-hand opportunity of closely monitoring how individuals suffering from mental health think and act. I have also taken part in some informal training of how to deal with individuals suffering from mental health. I feel that this training coupled with the experience shall help me achieve my goals. The hardest part of my career path shall be linked with getting a job. I shall have to apply at various places and work hard so that I may avail myself at the interviews. It is through determination that I shall overcome the process. In the future, I want to acquire doctorate program in Counseling and achieve my dream of becoming a special education teacher or a psychiatric aide. I aspire to acquire skills in test design, student evaluation. Finally, I want to have the ability to implement and develop lesson pals for class of students with speech impairments, Asperser’s Syndrome, as well as, learning disabilities.   I want to work at profound organizations, and help patients suffering mental diseases lead a better life. I want to acquire skills of entrepreneurship and social innovation. Through this I anticipate that I shall help tackle the issue community empowerment, job creation and leadership devilment.
