1. Describe the gender norm boundary you crossed and the context

2. Describe the reactions of others to this event.

3. Analyze why this gender norm exists in the first place(culture, history?)

4. Connect your experience explicitly to class by referencing the readings and class lectures.

5. Examine how you felt during the exercise. Do we limit our gender behavior because of internal restrictions (embarrassment, socialization) or because of how society treats us externally?

6. Reflect on your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, culture, religion, upbringing etc. How does this impact your understanding of gender roles?
