database on nine segments in the state of Calfornia serial killers

Order Description
analyse this into a database

The state I have chosen to study will be California, and the reason why I chose it is that ; According to public chart I sourced from the internet, California has the
greatest percentage of serial killers cases in comparison to the other states in the United States (Florida Gulf-Cost University, 2017). This is because there will be
a lot of material related to serial killers; hence, I will not have trouble looking for materials for my study. In this discussion, I will describe the process I will
undertake in conducting my research study in the State of California.
My discussions will be made up of data regarding serial killers in general, where a database will be created. The database will comprise any information known and will
have nine segments to assist in the database include the name of serial killer (offender), their sex, if any associates/partners and their number, the nickname offered
by the media or called themselves (Rossom, 1987). The number of confirmed victims, as well as that of the suspected victims, the date that murders started and the date
that they ended, and last but not least the cities / provinces of operation.
The main sources for this study will comprise the FBI Investigative Support Unit Nexus newspaper, which will form the primary source of material for my study. Files of
serial murders will be obtained from this source and those of California will be filtered out for use in my study. Other secondary sources of information will comprise
the local newspapers in California state in the past 20 years. The data will then be analysed using a software; for instance SPSS depending on the type of data that
will be collected.
