The College requires an SLO assignment for this course. Students are required to write an original essay that fully addresses all of the following material. It must be written in paragraph form, double spaced, in 12 point font, using correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. ALL WORK MUST BE IN STUDENTS’ OWN WORDS! No quotes from any other source, whether they’re cited and in quotation marks or not.
Each branch of government should be covered in different paragraphs. In order to fully address all the questions, the paper should be approximately 2-3 pages long.
Your SLO score will represent 20% of your final course grade. Papers will be accepted up to one week late with a deduction of 10% of the paper grade. After that, no late work will be accepted.
