Farm Bill The Farm Bill of 2014 (P.L. 113-79, H.Rept. 113-333) is a multi-year piece of legislation that not only authorizes, but also guides the funding for most of the federal farm and food policies. This includes the nutrition assistance supplementation program (SNAP). Through a reauthorization process, Congress renews the Farm Bill every five years.
