This is a research essay and requires the class to read a novel and respond to the question. The book I have chosen is The The Monkeys Mask authored by Dorothy Porter
We are allowed to make our own question although if that isn’t suitable, then approach this question How is sexuality and/or masculinity/femininity represented in any of the set texts? or Porter’s The Monkey’s Mask is described by critics as poetry, a verse novel, a crime novel, or more specifically lesbian detective fiction. Discuss Porter’s use of multiple genres. Does it work? A minimum of four references is compulsory utilising Harvard referencing system. I will add a file which further reinforces the task requirements.
