In thinking of the films Amelie and Ikiru, compare and contrast the lives of Amelie and Wantanabe in respect to the way in which they find meaning within life. Wantanabe, finally, at the end of his lifegives his life meaning in a certain way. Amelie, however, endows her life with meaning in a different way.
