Paper instructions:
Please find ordinary conflict to negotiate or to mediate or to otherwise attempt to resolve conflicts either on your behalf or on behalf or someone else. This can be in a formal setting or informal setting. (Be creative, it can be even as ordinary and simple as negotiation of the time your teen has to be in by midnight on Saturday night)
You should negotiate or mediate or otherwise attempt to resolve the conflict and then to think about your experience. use what you have been learning in dispute resolution.
Prepare a journal-style entry of sufficient length about each of these three disputes, please briefly (a) describe the necessary facts (b) explain and summarize a specific ADR concept, tool, or process that you used (include specific citations to our ADR materials) (c) explain how you used that concept. Discuss a different concept for each week. Then, add a Conclusion paragraph at the end of the paper, telling us what you have learned overall from these three journaling exercises.
Remember that this is an opportunity for you to use and yes to show off the skills we have been reading about. So, use this assignment to practice and to observe how your skill in conflict resolution grows.
