In the book “After The Fact – The Art of Historical Detection, Volume 2” attempts to disseminate evidence about the trial of Vanzetti, who is alleged to have committed murder and robbery in Braintree. Vanzetti thought himself as a martyr. A martyr is an individual who is persecuted or dies because of his belief or religion (Lytle, Davidson, 2009). He was an anarchist who fought for what he believed in. Vanzetti claimed that he symbolized the majority numerous alien forces that were threatened by the American. He was adhered to anarchist because he was advocating against the oppressive and violent United States government.

1919 was a major controversial year of the American history. In my view, the 1919 real headline was the turning point of the American government that ushered in the start of a new turn or era of the world of fighting terrorism (Lytle, Davidson, 2009). It was shortly after the World War I that the Russian Bolshevik Revolution, the Red Scare took hold of the United States through an anarchist bombing. This culminated a national wide fear because of the Red Scares’ plot to establish communism, crime against societies and conspiracies against the government. In my opinion, my reaction would have been to show my patriotism to my country by providing supporting and fighting back at the Red Scare (Lytle, Davidson, 2009).

Debates and talks about terrorism have been a continuous and consistent dynamic threat over the history. In my opinion, terrorism in was in existence since 1920’s but the current decade has come with a new transformation that have enhanced the roots of terrorism. Unlike the 1920’s terrorism acts, the current terrorism units have come with new priorities because of the changes in governments, technology, and the social being. I would have terminated the Red Scares’ activities by assisting the federal troops and policemen to identify the principle leaders of the group. I would assist individuals in the society to survive the prolonged war and strikes so as to eliminate crimes. This would guarantee safety and eradication of the Red Scare that had taken a deep root in the hold.
